GEMA – Minimal Gold/Black/White Navbar

Please review the following terms. They apply to all bookings, entries, and participation at the Exclusive Dance Festival.

1) Availability & Reservations

Festival packages and entries are offered on a first-paid, first-confirmed basis. Due to limited capacity, we cannot hold places without completed payment.

2) Payment Policy

Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure participation. Unpaid or partially paid requests are not considered confirmed.

3) Package Scope & Pricing

Package fees are fixed and remain unchanged if any component (e.g., meals, sessions, or services) is not used by the participant.

4) Travel & Accommodation

Attendees are responsible for arranging their own travel to Versilia — Forte dei Marmi, Tuscany (Italy), local transfers, and travel insurance. Nearby airports include Pisa (PSA) and Florence (FLR).

5) Programme Adjustments

The published programme may be modified in response to operational needs, weather, local regulations, traffic conditions, or other unforeseen factors. Any adjustments will be communicated as promptly as possible.

6) Force Majeure

The organiser is not liable for delays or non-performance caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, public health emergencies, government restrictions, strikes, or acts of terrorism.

7) Cancellations & Refunds

Bookings and entries are non-transferable without prior written approval.
Unless otherwise specified on your invoice/confirmation:

  • ≥ 45 days before the event start: a 25% cancellation fee applies.

  • < 45 days before the event start: non-refundable.

8) Personal Property

Participants are solely responsible for their belongings. The organiser cannot accept liability for loss, theft, or damage to personal items.

9) Media & Likeness

By attending, you grant the organiser permission to capture, edit, and use photographs and video recordings from the event for promotional, editorial, and archival purposes.

10) Assumption of Risk & Release

Dance activities involve inherent physical risk. By participating, you acknowledge these risks and agree to release the organiser from liability for injury, loss, or damages except where prohibited by law.

11) Indemnity

Participants agree to indemnify and hold the organiser harmless against claims, costs, and damages arising from their actions or breach of these terms.

12) Decisions & Dispute Resolution

The organiser’s decisions regarding rules, scheduling, placements, and awards are final. Participation implies acceptance of these determinations.

13) Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing a package or submitting an entry, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Rules & Regulations. No additional signatures are required.

14) PRO AM: Categorie di età e livello

I concorrenti sono suddivisi per età come segue:

Juvenile: U12

Junior: 12-15

Youth: 16-18 

A: 16-35 | B: 36-50 | C: 51-60 | D: 61-70 | E: 71+.

I ballerini del gruppo di età B, possono gareggiare anche nel gruppo A.

I ballerini del gruppo di età C, posso gareggiare anche nel gruppo A e B.

I ballerini del gruppo di età D, posso gareggiare anche nel gruppo A – B -C.

I ballerini del gruppo di età E, posso gareggiare anche nel gruppo A – B -C – D.

Il livello di competenza/esperienza può essere fino a due livelli superiore al livello indicato nella prima, iscrizione del dal ballerino.

(EN) Age and Competence Categories

Competitors are divided by age as follows:

Juvenile: U12

Junior: 12-15

Youth: 16-18

A: 16-35 | B: 36-50 | C: 51-60 | D: 61-70 | E: 71+.

Dancers in age group B may also compete in A group.

Dancers in age group C may also compete in A and B groups.

Dancers in age group D may also compete in A, B, and C groups.

Dancers in age group E may also compete in A, B, C, and D groups.

The dancer’s competency/experience level may be up to two levels higher than the level indicated in the dancer’s initial registration.

15) Scholarship & Championship Eligibility

To qualify for Scholarship, student must register for four (4) or five (5) single dances.

To qualify for Exclusive Championships, each student must be registered for four (4) or five (5) single dances + Scholarship OR multi dance.

16) Missed Heats

Heats will not be paused for absent couples. Missed rounds are not refundable.

17) Awards

  • Single Dance: certificates

  • Multi-Dance: diplomas and medals

  • Scholarship / Championships: finalists receive diplomas; top three are awarded medals and trophies

18) Exclusions

Food and beverages outside the official programme, personal expenses, and optional add-ons are not included in package pricing.

SOLO CATEGORY CLOTHING REGULATIONS

  • BALLROOM NATIONAL COMPETITION REGULATION
    • Clothing: For categories E/D, clothing restrictions until under 12 (No fringes – No rhinestones – No sequins)
    • For categories C/B/A – Free clothing
    • For all OPEN categories – Free clothing

INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION REGULATIONS

    • Clothing: Restrictions until under 12 (No fringes – No rhinestones – No sequins)
    • Free clothing from under 14

COUPLES CATEGORY CLOTHING REGULATIONS

  • NATIONAL COMPETITION REGULATIONS Clothing:
    • For categories E/D, clothing restrictions until Under 12 (No fringes – No rhinestones – No sequins)
    • For categories C/B/A – Free clothing
    • For all OPEN categories – Free clothing

INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION REGULATIONS

  • Clothing: Restrictions until Under 12 (No fringes – No rhinestones – No sequins)
  • Free clothing from Under 14

Rules for the Solo Latin Competition
Respect for Classes:

Open National Competition

Class E dancers cannot compete in Classes D, (D1 – D2) – C1 and C2 – B – A
Class D, (D1 – D2) dancers cannot compete in Classes E – C1 and C2 – B – A
Class C1 and C2 dancers cannot compete in Classes E – D, (D1 – D2) – B – A
Class B dancers cannot compete in Classes E – D, (D1 – D2) – C1 and C2 – A
Class A dancers cannot compete in Classes E – D, (D1 – D2) – C1 and C2 – B

We also remind of the clothing restrictions for classes E – D – (D1 and D2) and for all categories and classes (including Open – International – Exclusive) from under 12 downwards.

I ballerini della Classe D, (D1 – D2) non possono gareggiare nelle Classi E – C1 e C2 – B – A
I ballerini delle Classi C1 e C2 non possono gareggiare nelle Classi E – D, (D1 – D2) – B – A
I ballerini della Classe B non possono gareggiare nelle Classi E – D, (D1 – D2) – C1 e C2 – A
I ballerini della Classe A non possono gareggiare nelle Classi E – D, (D1 – D2) – C1 e C2 – B
